Louis Sullivan wrote: “It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic, of all things physical and metaphysical, of all things human and all things super-human, of all true manifestations of the head, of the heart, of the soul, that the life is recognizable in its expression, that form ever follows function. This is the law.” Within the limits of sculpture I produce artworks that could comprise synthetic principles for architectural design. My primary aim is synthetic balance. This balance is associated with the length and the thickness of the elements, the degrees of the angles, the visual high and low density spots, the relations between the individual elements and the relation between them and the sculpture’s surrounding space.
